Talk naturally

Realtime audio, interruptions and fast replies, with model reasoning disabled. Reachy uses its own microphone and speaker.

Make it yours

Edit its personality and context. Choose from Grok's available voices, grouped by female, male and other choices.

Let it express itself

Gentle idle gestures and speech-driven head and antenna movements. Ask for native dances and emotions, and adjust how much Reachy moves.

Runs on your robot

From this Space to your Reachy

  1. Install reachy_grok_voice from Applications in Reachy Mini Control. If it is not listed yet, follow the REST installation steps in the guide.
  2. Start the app, then open http://reachy-mini.local:7861 on the same network as your robot.
  3. Add your own xAI API key in the local robot dashboard. Choose a voice, save your personality, and start a conversation.

This public Space hosts the app's source and guide. Conversations run on your robot and connect directly to xAI. Each user supplies their own API key and API credit.

Finished chatting? Click “Return to Mini Control” in the robot dashboard to close the app and release control.
